SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Twin City Heating and Air

$25.00 to $40.00+ an hour

Required Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Service Requests in a timely manor

  • Efficiently and effectively diagnose HVAC issues

  • Communicate with customers clearly and in plain terms what the diagnosis is and present options for rectifying issues

  • Know and use TCHA’s current service platform (Service Titan) for appointments, communication with customers, job documentation and payments and billing.

  • Offer and provide maintenance plans and other system upgrades

  • Present and sell replacement systems and components when appropriate

  • Thoroughly communicate with office staff regarding scheduling/rescheduling needs and billing/payment issues.

  • Maintain truck stock and order parts as needed under the supervision of the Production Manager

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose heating and cooling system issues and articulate resolutions to customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or Equivalent.

  • 2+ years relevant experience

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Lift up to 50 + pounds; able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy items or appropriate devices.

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and carry ladders, work in confined spaces and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces and in high spaces to access HVAC Units

  • Good communication, interpersonal, computer and smartphone skills.

  • Good Mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of electrical components, schematics, heating and refrigeration concepts and components.

  • Masters Certificate in Gas, warm air, refrigeration and/or steam heat a plus but not required.

  • Must be able to effectively and efficiently train, coach, assist and lead other TCHA service technicians in their technical and customer service skills

  • Assist installations teams as needed.

  • Team work is a priority. Must be willing to work other TCHA employees.

  • Must consistently work on personally and professional skills and objectives

  • Must fully participate in team meetings and complete required readings and assignments

  • Anxious and excited to be in the HVAC industry.

LEAD HVAC INSTALLER

$30.00 to $55.00+ an hour

Job Responsibilities:

Performs high quality installations of heating, air conditioning, venting and gas lines. Leads other HVAC installers. Provides outstanding customer service. Opportunities for OT and service work.

  • Able to lead and supervise

  • Holding comp cards desired but not required

  • Excellent verbal skills

  • Computer and smartphone experience highly desired

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent

  • Proficient in installing Gas Pipe

  • Proficient in installing Refrigeration Pipe

  • Highly proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems

  • Proficient at installing residential boilers, furnaces and air conditioners

  • Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings

  • General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems

  • Ability to test and balance systems

  • Understand and apply all codes for residential

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience

CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

$14.00 – $20.00+ per hour

Job Responsibilities:

As a customer service specialist, you will perform a variety of office support and administrative functions.

Your role will include office communications, answering phones, data entry, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate would also be able to support marketing and outreach efforts and customer follow-up.

  • Be able to pleasantly greet customers or other personnel of the company by phone, in person, or through electronic media including email and texting.

  • Handle requests and transactions or direct the matter or person to the proper sources.

  • Be able to work in a fast-moving, high-detail environment.

  • Completely and accurately enter appointments into our database and scheduling system.

  • Follow procedures and processes for phones and scheduling

  • Be a team player who is willing to work for the greater good of the team.

  • Must be experienced with Office products especially Word and Excel.

  • Be able to learn and become proficient in the Service Titan scheduling platform

  • Experience in a service related industry highly desired

  • Experience or familiarity working with Service Titan a plus

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a degree or education in administration and marketing preferred.

  • One year of office experience or related work experience.

  • Experience in customer service.

  • Must have strong computer skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.

  • Excellent oral and written communication.

  • Excellent with details and troubleshooting potential customer service issues

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and organize data and information.

  • Work independently and exercise good judgement.

  • Be willing to work as a team.

  • Be willing to do what it takes to grow the company.
