At Twin City Heating and Air in Minneapolis, we want to make sure that your experience is a good one. That’s why we detail out every point of our inspection to you. Now that it’s time to check your furnace for the upcoming winter, here is what to expect during your furnace check-up.
Inspection
When our technicians come in, they conduct a professional inspection of every part of your furnace with our 21-point inspection. They will test gas levels for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. They will also check the combustible materials to make sure your family is safe. Every part of the furnace is checked, along with the thermostat and vents.
Cleaning
Part of your inspection will include cleaning parts for effective air flow in your home. Our technicians will be sure to clean the air filter, furnace burner, heat exchangers, the furnace exterior, vents, and more as needed. Be sure to ask about specific areas if you have any concerns.
Suggest Replacements or Repairs
Our technicians will let you know if there are any parts that should be replaced for the safety of your home and the effectiveness of your furnace. Because our technicians don’t work on commission, they will never suggest unnecessary repairs or replacements. Depending on the repair, we can fix up your furnace right away so that you don’t have to worry about making another appointment.
Every appointment will take around 60 to 90 minutes to make sure your furnace is ready for extended use. Learn more about our inspections on our website or call us for any questions or concerns. We are always happy to help with your HVAC needs.
